Terms of Service for Deeply Rooted

Welcome to Deeply Rooted ("the App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our application and services. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. Users between the ages of 13 and 18 must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. User Responsibilities

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, including your password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App or help anyone else do so. This includes, but is not limited to, the following prohibited activities:

  • Engaging in harassment, threatening behavior, or spamming.
  • Sharing content that is obscene, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Impersonating any person or entity.
  • Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system or network.
  • Breaching or otherwise circumventing any security or authentication measures.
  • Uploading viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.

3. Content Ownership

Your Content

You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in the content you create in the App, such as your personal notes ("User Content"). However, by using the App, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the service.

Our Content

The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Deeply Rooted and its licensors. This includes our logos, branding, and all proprietary code and design.

4. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You can also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

5. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court. By agreeing to these Terms, you and Deeply Rooted are each waiving the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action.

6. Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEEPLY ROOTED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

7. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
